Food Log (Client App)

You can now log your food directly in the app, making it easy to track your nutrition while allowing your trainer to monitor your progress. To access your Food Log, tap Profile in the toolbar and select your Crunch Folder. Your Food Log will be available there.

If your Food Log is up to date, it will be marked in green. If today’s log is missing, the icon will appear red.

When you open the Food Log, you’ll see a weekly calendar at the top. Days where you’ve logged meals are highlighted in green, while missed days appear in red. Use the arrows to move between weeks. For a broader overview, tap the calendar icon to expand the view and quickly navigate through different months.

Logging meals is simple. If you skip a meal, tap the Skip Meal icon. To add a food item, tap Add Food. You can search for food in several ways:

  • By typing the item name into the search bar,
  • By using the barcode scanner, and
  • by browsing through shortcuts in two tabs. Recents, which are the recently logged items, and Favorites, which are the items you’ve marked as favorites.

To use the search function, type the name of the item into the search bar. Once you find the correct food item you are looking for, tap the plus icon. When you tap on a specific food item, a detailed window will open showing the nutritional breakdown. From there, you can select the serving size, choose the number of servings, and assign the item to the correct meal. To confirm, tap Add Food at the bottom of the screen.

If you’re using the barcode scanner, tap the barcode icon next to the search bar. You’ll be prompted to enable camera access. Once enabled, align the barcode within the frame and tap Scan to fetch the food details. After scanning, you can adjust the serving size, number of servings, and the meal it should be logged to.

If the scanned food item isn’t found, this will be indicated on the screen. You can then tap the plus icon to add it to the database for future use. To save an item to your Favorites, tap the heart icon.

To log items from the Recents or Favorites tabs, simply tap the plus icon next to the item and adjust the serving details.

Once you start logging food, you’ll be able to see your daily macro breakdown, including total calories, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. By tapping the three dots, you can edit or delete any entry. Your trainer can also send you nutrition-related notes and tips. You can view them by scrolling to the bottom of the Food Log screen or by checking your Notification Center on the home page.

Keep logging your meals, stay consistent, and use your trainer’s insights to get the most out of your nutrition tracking and optimize your progress.
