Known Issue: Client Can't Be Scheduled Despite Having an Active or Paid Package
Status: Investigating Affected: Trainer App, Client App, Manager Suite — clients/members with an active, paid, or paid-in-full package who cannot be booked for a session Last updated: 2026-08-26
Some trainers and club staff are unable to schedule sessions for a client even though the client's package shows as active and fully paid. Here's what we know and how to work around it.
Symptoms
Trainers and club staff have reported several variations of the same underlying problem, all in the context of trying to book a session for a client who should be eligible:
- A trainer cannot schedule any of their "paid in full" clients — the booking flow does not let the session go through.
- Booking returns a "no funded package" error even though the client's payment was processed correctly. This has been reported for clients whose agreements were purchased during a discounted-pricing promotion, and one report noted the client's session expiration date also disappeared after the purchase; the reporting trainer suspected the combination of discounted pricing and a "Tier 2" account status.
- Attempting to schedule a specific client returns a "Data access input error," with the message that the client "cannot be scheduled," even though the client has active packages.
- One club reported the same client repeatedly hitting a scheduling/session-completion problem across more than one support ticket, suggesting the issue can recur on a specific client record rather than being fully resolved the first time.
- A member reported being unable to access booking for their assigned trainer at all.
Cause
Not confirmed. The reports above span three different error messages ("no funded package," "data access input error," and unspecified booking failures) and three different apps (Trainer App, Client App, Manager Suite), so it is not yet established whether these share one root cause or are several distinct bugs that surface the same way to the user — a client who should be bookable can't be booked. One trainer's report points toward an interaction between discounted/promotional pricing and account tier status as a possible contributing factor in at least one case, but this has not been verified by engineering.
Workaround
There is no confirmed self-service fix.
- In one reported case, the trainer worked around the "no funded package" error by manually booking the affected sessions rather than through the normal in-app booking flow. It is not confirmed whether this option is available to all trainers or in all cases.
- For all other cases in this review, no in-app workaround was documented — the issue required support follow-up.
If you or a client hit this issue, capture the following before contacting support:
- The client's/member's name and account ID (or barcode ID).
- The exact error message shown (e.g., "no funded package," "Data access input error"), including a screenshot if possible.
- The package name and confirmation that it shows as active/paid on the account.
- Which app the error occurred in (Trainer App, Client App, or Manager Suite) and whether this is a repeat occurrence for the same client.
