Other General App/Platform Errors (Miscellaneous)

Status: Investigating — residual bucket, no single root cause Affected: Client App, Trainer App, Manager Suite (mixed) Last updated: 2026-08-26

This article intentionally covers what's left over after separating out the seven distinct, groundable patterns in articles 1-7. The items below don't share a common symptom or cause with each other — they're a mix of one-off reports, low-detail tickets, and small issues (1-2 tickets each) that don't yet have enough volume to justify their own article. Use this as a reference/routing list, not a single troubleshooting flow — each sub-item below should be escalated on its own terms.

Symptoms (grouped by rough theme — not a single issue)

Data accuracy / display issues (Client App): - Doesn't show how many PT sessions have been used or remain available (#422472109242). - Workout/goal log records the wrong day for a completed workout, and there's no way to correct it (#422703775993, duplicate #422880274663). - Training plan data duplicates or reorders itself — weeks/workouts appear out of order, some doubled, completed items revert to incomplete (#391307315402). - Wrong trainers shown for the member's home club (#400318650597). - Member can't click into an assigned workout to view it, described as "glitched for days" (#423084532981). - Client can log a new workout but can't see the actual assigned program/routine the trainer set up (#424757445839). - Expired PT event notification stuck in the active notification feed, member requests "a backend reset" (#422822755527). - "Unable to link to workout" (#386100325606, low detail).

Access/permissions issues (Manager Suite): - "Forbidden access" error reported and escalated internally (#422210954455, low detail — no symptom description beyond the error name). - Two specific staff members (a Fitness Manager and Assistant Fitness Manager) have no chat bubble to open support tickets in Manager Suite (#426550577368). - A franchise manager's Enhance permissions role has all options enabled when it shouldn't, effectively granting unintended admin-level access (#419304435944).

Trainer App / program-builder: - Creating a new exercise in a program, then hitting "update," makes it disappear from the list under "Main Exercises" (#421727005921). - Client can't access completed progress checks (#427736974542). - Trainer trying to sync dotfit workouts with the Enhance app (#426773624050, low detail — unclear if this is a supported integration at all; confirm with SME).

Device/connectivity (member-side, not tablets): - iPhone users locked out entirely by a continuous update-prompt loop — App Store only offers "Open," not "Update," blocking login App-wide (#419300925636). Club had to manually complete sessions for affected members (this is the source ticket for the manual-workaround guidance referenced in articles 1 and 3).

Accessibility: - With iPhone display text set to a larger size, the "Book" button on the session-booking page becomes unreachable and the page won't scroll to reveal it (#414757992648) — a genuine accessibility bug, worth flagging to product/design specifically.

Low-detail / unparseable tickets (included for completeness, not actionable as written): #424780100822 ("Member sent screenshot for update" — no description), #429893114052 ("Both clients and mine are not loading" — ambiguous), #429698564285 and #429827980482 (ticket body is just an email address, no description captured in this export), #414000671988 ("Manager Suite Issues," no detail beyond looping in support).

Cause

Not applicable as a single cause — see above. This bucket is intentionally heterogeneous.

Workaround

Not applicable as a single workaround. Route each item to the team that owns that specific area (data/backend engineering for the data-accuracy items, access/identity for the permissions items, product/design for the accessibility item, etc.) rather than treating this article as a fix.

Fix Timeline

Not applicable — this is a routing reference, not a tracked single issue.

Updates

  • 2026-08-26: Article drafted as the explicit residual bucket after splitting articles 1-7 out of the original single "won't load" article. Re-evaluate at the next KB review: if any theme above grows in volume, split it into its own Known Issue article rather than leaving it here.
