Workout / Homework

Homework workouts, also known as self-led workouts, can be assigned to your clients on days they are not training with you.

You typically assign these workouts as you do your progress check, in the Client Goals section. If you wish to send additional homework workouts to your clients in between progress checks, at any time you can do it from the “Send workout” button on the homepage.

Assigning Homework (Self-Led Workouts) During Progress Check

To access this from the progress check, go to your client list, select the desired client, and open their client folder. In the client folder you will see the client progress check tab. Open it, and start the new progress check, once it is due.

In the Client’s Goals section, you’ll have the option to set up homework workouts. Here, you can specify how many times per week the client should perform these workouts. Clicking on the Select workout type box will take you to the following screen where you will be able to specify the type of workouts your client should focus on and how many times per week they should complete each. Once you’ve made your selections, simply click the "Confirm" button to lock in their routine.

You will be able to update the homework workouts in the next progress check.

Sending Homework (Self-Led)  Workouts

To send a workout to a client, tap Send Workout on the homepage. Choose from the Crunch library or your own personal library. Tap on a workout thumbnail to select it. You can choose multiple workouts if needed. To unselect a workout, simply tap it again. Once you’ve made your selection, tap Confirm.

Next, select the client you’re sending the workouts to. Set the completion period, which is the deadline for finishing the workouts, and the number of times each workout should be completed.

If you want the same settings to apply to all selected workouts, tap Apply to All. If you prefer to customize the settings for each workout individually, you can do that as well.

When everything is set, tap Save and Send. You’ll see a confirmation banner letting you know the workouts were sent successfully. You can then access them anytime in the client’s folder under the Workouts tab.

Track Homework Workout Completion

To view your client’s homework workouts and whether they have completed them, open their Client Folder and click on the Workouts tab.

If no homework workouts have been assigned, you’ll see a screen letting you know. If they do have homework assigned, you’ll see a list of their current active workouts, marked with a yellow "Active" tab. You’ll also find previous homework workouts that were part of earlier training programs, tagged with a green "Completed" tab.

Clicking on an individual workout tab will show you all the one-off workouts from that homework period, giving you full visibility into whether your clients are staying on track with their homework.

If your client hasn’t logged any workouts yet, you’ll see that displayed on the screen as well.

By setting up these sessions during your progress checks, you ensure they stay on track with their goals.
